Appraisal

The assets we value include businesses or their parts, organizational components, small and large stock and trading interests in trading companies, intangible assets (trademarks, know-how, licenses, patents and utility models, software), financial assets, valuable papers, real estate, production sites, individual movables and sets of movables, stocks, receivables and payables, contracts, lost profits/damages, warranties and leasing.

Transfer pricing

We create documentation of transfer prices and their updating, including possible implementation into expert opinions, revision and updating of processed documentation (Master file and Local file). We prepare comparative analyzes to find out the usual market values of indicators, interest rates, etc. using external databases. We are setting up a transfer pricing system.

We also represent clients in potential disputes with the tax authority, we provide advice in the area of intangible assets and their financing, as well as in the area of profit allocation of permanent establishments. We provide training for employees of the financial and controlling departments, which are oriented towards the issue of risks in the area of transfer pricing.

Dagmar Dušková

Audit Partner

Dagmar graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the University of Economics in Prague and has been with CLA Czech Republic since 2003. She focuses on audits of statutory and consolidated financial statements, consolidation packages, subsidies, opening balances, and financial due diligence. Since 2024, she has also been involved in auditing Sustainability Reports (ESG). In the valuation office, she serves as the guarantor of expert opinions and valuation reports.

Jakub Kovář

Partner

Jakub has been working in the field of accounting since 1993. He has been a certified auditor since 2004 and is also a court-appointed expert in the field of economics. He speaks English and German fluently. As the Managing Partner of the Prague office of CLA Czech Republic, he oversees the firm’s activities in audit, tax, and expert advisory services.

Miloslav Mahdík

Valuation Services Partner

Miloslav is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague and the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University, specializing in business valuation, economic policy, and economic theory. He has extensive experience from expert institutions such as NOVOTA and BDO Appraisal Services. Since 2011, he has been working at CLA Czech Republic’s valuation office as the Head of Valuation Projects for the Czech Republic. He is a court-appointed expert in the field of business enterprise valuation and also focuses on the quantification of lost profits, damages, and transfer pricing matters.

Daniel Knopp

Head of Transfer Pricing Services

Daniel is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague. He has been part of the CLA Czech Republic team since 2013, bringing expertise in the metallurgy industry, mechanical engineering, foundry, transportation technology, and international trade. He has served as a mentor at the University of Economics, lectured at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and taught courses on real estate and business enterprise valuation. As a part of his commitment to continuous learning, he also focuses on tax-related matters.

Václav Kunášek

Head of Real Estate Valuation Services

Václav graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and completed a postgraduate program in real estate valuation at the Institute of Forensic Engineering at Brno University of Technology. He has been working in the field of valuation since 2011 and has prepared a wide range of expert reports — from industrial complexes and investment properties to family houses and land plots.
